Today’s post is this month’s Funny Friday, a regular feature published on the last Friday of every month. Funny Friday is a collaborative project. Each month one of the participants submits a picture, then we all write 5 captions or thoughts inspired by that month’s picture. Links to the other bloggers’ posts are below, click on them and see what they’ve come up with. I hope we bring a smile to your face as you start your weekend.
Here's today's picture. It was submitted by Dawn of Cognitive Script.
1. Man driving down the road towing a big honkin' fan (to himself): She said if we can't afford air conditioning that the least I could do is buy a bigger fan. This should do it.
2. Woman driving down the highway, looks over to see a big honkin' fan (to herself): Jeez, can you imagine what happens when the shit hits that thing?
3. New driver navigating the freeway with mom in the passenger seat, looks in the next lane and smiles: Mom, you know how you said I could take your car to that concert 5 hours away when hell freezes over?
Mom: Yes.
Son: We need to fill up the gas tank tonight, 'cause I think I've found a way to make that happen.
4. Little boy sitting in the back seat: Mom?
Mom: Yes, dear.
Little boy: Those people next to us?
Mom: Yeah.
Little boy: I think they're trying to communicate with aliens in outer space.
5. Woman driving down the road towing a big honkin' fan (to herself): "Move to the south," he said. "You'll love it," he said. And here I am, melting. He doesn't want to move again, fine. I'll just blow us into another state.

#2 is HILARIOUS! I could sure use a fan that size during one of my hot flashes.....
ReplyDeleteOooh, that would have made a great caption. Why didn't I think of that?
DeleteThat was my first thought when I saw the photo!
DeleteHa, I guess you two great minds think alike!
DeleteStill laughing at the second one and also thinking of how awesome an airboat fan this could make. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea for a caption too. All these options I hadn't thought of.
DeleteThanks for making me smile
ReplyDeleteHappy to do it!
DeleteYours are funny! Love them all.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you laughed!
DeleteWe will need this fan come summer but right now it could blow away all the water standing from the rain.
ReplyDeleteVery creative captions!
We've got snow, think maybe I could use one of these fans to send it all over to my neighbor's? He just blows all of his out into the street for the plow to pile in front of my driveway . . .
DeleteLove the dialogue exchange. I'm so going to try and put a little dialogue in my next post.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to reading it.
