Practice Makes Perfect: Funny Friday

Today’s post is this month’s Funny Friday, a regular feature published on the last Friday of every month. Funny Friday is a collaborative project. Each month one of the participants submits a picture, then we all write 5 captions or thoughts inspired by that month’s picture. Links to the other bloggers’ posts are below, click on them and see what they’ve come up with. I hope we bring a smile to your face as you start your weekend.

1.Woman (exasperated after just having left the mall, and mumbling under her breath): Bet he never walks up and down 10 aisles in a mall parking lot searching for where he left his car.

2. Well that's the height of laziness, get out and walk, you don't play paintball in your car.

3. Little boy to his mom (pointing to the multicolored car): Mom, what's that?
Mother: That's the car of someone who flunked art.

4. The next day:
Little boy to his mom (pointing out the front window): That guy only painted half of his car, what do you think he in art? A "C"?

5. Next day:
Mom: Where are you going?
Son (heading into the garage carrying every color of indelible marker they make): I have to go practice, I want to get an "A" in art.

And now for something yummy:

  1. That is SO rich. Pinned, tweeted, drooled. This would be great for a special occasion. Alas, me being on Weight Watchers! Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

    1. The peanut butter cuts some of the richness and the cream cheese cuts some of the sweetness. It's definitely not WW approved though, would be my guess.

  2. You know when the painter was finished he said "man I hope they like this because I'm NOT doing it again" LOL and I KNOW they find it in a parking lot. When I had my red car, it was difficult to find, when I had the convertible it was the ONLY one in town. Now I drive a white jeep, IMPOSSIBLE to find.

    1. I think our cars are less hard to find because of their look and more hard to find because of our memories (of where we parked them). Just sayin'.

  4. It's great that boy learned something about effort in Art. I've seen so many interesting cars in Minnesota. Where I haven't seen so many interesting cars is in Texas.

  5. Oh, my word! What IS that?
You're right. They'd never have to hunt for THEIR car! (Or turn on the alarm because they can't remember where the heck they left it. Mentioning this because a friend does that exact thing. Yes. A friend. Every time.)
Bwahahaha! I can see my kids doing the very same thing!

    1. Is that friend by any chance named Diane? Asking for a friend. No, actually asking for me.
