It's that time of year. You know what I mean, cookie time. What I love about cookies is that they are perfect for almost any need this time of year. Whether it's a grab and go snack, a cookie exchange, something just to have around the house to serve friends and family who are often visiting this time of year, to take to work and stick in the break room, hand out to neighbors in this season of good will, put on your holiday dessert table, and I always bake 9 to 12 dozen for the workers at a local charity . . . yes, cookies can do it all.
We have our favorites, ones we make every year, but I develop new recipes through the year and in December those we loved make a comeback too.
So here's the thing, I know many of you, mysane friends, don't necessarily come up with new cookie recipes through the year, but don't worry. I've done all the work for you. And, on top of that, I'm sharing 30 (yes, THIRTY) favorites today. Pick a few that look good to you and click on the link to find the recipe (in case you're new here, recipes are at the bottom of the page, just below my signature). Or make them all, if you're feeling adventurous.
And, if I haven't given you enough reasons to bake some of these little treats, let me just remind you that everyone knows that Santa saves the best presents for those who serve him home baked cookies.
I grouped them, 10 to a group, to make it easier for you to actually see each picture and the correlating number where I've listed it's recipe link.

I'm definitely keeping this post in my Favorites file to come back to later!
ReplyDeleteSo glad. Let me know which ones you try.
DeleteOh, my word this is fabulous! You need to publish a cookbook! I'd buy it!
ReplyDeleteWell, you'd know more about getting a book published than I would, but I think it may not be worth it for me. Guess I'll stick to the blog for now.
DeleteThey all look fantastic. Which are your top 3?
ReplyDeleteWell, I don't know about narrowing it down to 3, but these are my favorite 30!
DeleteI love the smell of freshly baked biscuits
ReplyDeleteMe too. And it happens quite a lot this time of year.
DeleteThank you! Thank you! Alana ramblinwutham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteYou know I'm not actually going to bake them all for you, right?
DeleteOh...you aren't? (disappointed). Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
DeletePeppermint Chocolate and the Bourbon Balls are the first two I'd try. But there is not a one that doesn't sound delicious!
ReplyDeleteVery good choices. Start there and work your way through.
DeleteLove your funny Friday. As for highway safety reminders-those seem to change daily where I live. The latest one on Cyber Monday was something along the lines of don't scroll and drive. Like I would ever do that!
DeleteGlad you enjoyed the post.
